The 7th International Space Syntax Symposium takes place in three sites mainly, and the longest distances should be within about 20 to 30 minutes of walk in-between at a fair pace, and not more than 10-15 fminutes rom recommended hotels. However, Stockholm has good public transport consisting of subway and bus lines. All subway lines pass through T-Centralen, where Kulturhuset lies, and The Royal Institute of Technology lies on a major Public Transport node ("Tekniska Högskolan" for subway, and "Östra Station" for other forms of transport).
Easiest is to travel either by bus 4 (so-called "blue buslines", leaves every 5-10 minutes), that connects to the subway at KTH and at Odenplan, or by Subway ("red line", between Fruängen and Mörby Centrum). See the public transport homepage, SL. or the subway map directly as a pdf.
When it comes to public transport, all of the conference sites are within the same travelling zone, meaning travel is for the same ticket. However, there is a number of ways to buy tickets. Most importantly, buses do not accept cash payment, you need a ticket in advance.
If you think you will travel much by public transport the organising committee suggests buying a 3 day-pass for SEK 200 or a 7 day-pass for SEK 260. These work on all SL public transport (but not the airport coaches or Arlande Express train).
